Mr. Michael Stedman BMUS (Perf.) Educational Studies with Pedagogy
Position: Guitar, Piano & Music TheoryMichael, originally from Wicklow, brings over 15 years of experience in Classical Guitar. He began his studies with David Creevy before earning a Bachelor of Music, specialising in Pedagogy (Music Education), under the guidance of the late Leslie Cassidy at TUD. Dublin (formerly DIT). Throughout his academic pursuits, Michael performed extensively across Dublin, participated in competitions throughout Ireland, and collaborated with individuals with special needs through the Williams Syndrome Association. His advanced studies include work with renowned international artists such as Marco Ramelli and Darragh O'Neill.
Recently, Michael completed coursework in Psychoanalysis and composed and performed 'Wicklow Sojourn,' representing County Wicklow for RTE Radio 1's project, 'The County Measure.' As an educator, he has taught at several music schools in Dublin and is deeply committed to cultivating musicianship and fostering a passion for music and lifelong learning among his students.
