Keenan School of Music, Castleknock follows practices intended to safeguard the welfare of all children by:

Maintaining a Code of Behaviour for staff and volunteers
Providing guidelines for safety and activity management
Sharing information about Child Protection Policy, procedures, and good practices with staff, volunteers, children, young people, parents, guardians, and members; reporting concerns regarding suspected or disclosed abuse to the relevant authority and involving parents, children, and young people as appropriate
Designating a senior staff member to oversee the implementation, review, documentation, and updating of procedures
Ensuring all teachers undergo vetting as required by law
